INVINCIBLE YOUTH,

 Explaining this show is probably the hardest thing I've ever attempted. Every time I try to explain that this show is about 7 k-pop idols who own a farm and go around working in fields, harvesting crops and helping old people, I always sound crazy. It does sound strange right? I mean what is so great about watching people pull weeds and muck out stables? But It's AWESOME!!!! Invincible youth draws you in with it's unique charm and, makes you addicted. You get to know each of the girls and  fall in love with their individual personalities. Seven members from k-pop girl groups all come together to live in the small village of Yuchi-ri . They interact with the villagers and invite various Idol guests to come and help on their farm. Along with the G7(girls 7) are three  comical hosts who keep the humor rolling throughout the show. Their hilarious!!! This show really promoted rural life in Korea and helped to spark greater interest in both tourism and agriculture.  I hope you will give this show a chance and learn to love it like I do! Here is a quick introduction to the G7....

  First of all ...

Yuri - Girls Generation
"the village daughter- in- law"
Got her nickname because all the mothers, fathers , and grandparents in the village wanted her for their daughter-in-law.

 

Sunny- Girls Generation and Shin young - famous comedian and MC
"Gag Team"
Nicknamed because they where always being funny and doing Gags together.

Narsha - Brown Eyed Girls
"Adult- Idol"
Named because she was 30 years old, and also because she was known for her "adult" humor.

Sunhwa - SECRET
"White Paper"
Nicknamed for being as blank in the head or stupid as white paper.

Hara - KARA
"Hara Goo"
don't know why she got this nickname but she was called  it since the first episode all through out the show.

Hyomin - T-ARA
" folding screen"
Called this because she was always in the background of everyone else like a folding scree.

Hyuna - 4 minute
"whiny"
She was the "maknae" or youngest and was always whining and complaining.

 That's the original G7! Later in the first series Hyuna, Sunny, and Yuri where replaced by Victoria- F(x), Jooyeon -Afterschool, and Sori- solo artist. After the first season of Invincible youth ended a second season was made staring an all new 8 members.
Lastly here is the invincible youth motto:
                  "YOUTH NEVER DIES, INVINCIBLE YOUTH!!!"
